Who here owns a Renaultsport?

I saw a VERY shiny 200 on the way home and it looked awesome. I now want one.

I have tried (and failed) to convince the GF we should get one as our next car. Unfortunately she has decided she likes her Mini too much :(

Still, convinced her she needs a Cooper S, so not all bad.

The 200 on £200 a month deal was epic though.

I know, although I didn't like the thought of being left without a car and £6k-odd down after 2 years! There's no way I'd have had the cash to pay the final fee either.

Should be plenty going second hand in 12-18 months :)

How do you guys find the smaller front number plate? Have you passed MOT's with them?

Dump her, tbh.

It was odd, she'd rather keep her 1.2 '57 plate Clio over a 200FF. However when speaking to her this week about a new car she had 2 requirements, adjustable seat height, and a 'pretty colour'

I've not had an MOT since I got it (I don't think), but as Skeeter says my front plate is only attached with heavy duty velcro, the full size one is in the boot and can be changed over in all of 10 seconds :)

Think I am going to get a 90mm high front plate for the road, and then also get a set of black plates with silver lettering to stick on on track. Just need to decide what to put on them now.

Thinking SKEETER, CLIO, or 172.

Pushed the car for the first time today since everything has been all setup. New wheels and tyres, coilovers and geo setup has completely transformed the handling. So happy with it right now, the turn in and grip is crazy. On sunday i'll be fitting my top mount washers and new rear exhaust brackets, and might even treat the car to an oil change. It seems to be going like **** off a shovel at the moment though, dunno whats up lol.

Sounds like you're enjoying it dude :)

I'm also loving mine right now. Touch wood, it's been a while since I've needed anything (aside from brake pads), and it's nice to just drive it and have fun.

There's this place when I leave Tunbridge Wells (where I work), which has a slight S bend and is uphill, with buildings either side of the road. Everytime I go that way and there's no traffic, windows down, music off, into second, full throttle to 7k revs. The sound is immense :)
