Auto Headlights? Proper factory fitted Xenons (Projectors, Washers etc)? Auto Wipers? Climate Control? Cruise Control? That's all standard fit on a 182.

Crazy business that Xenons aren't available from the factory on the 200, yet came standard with the 182.

Half leather standard, full was optional and standard on the ST500. I have seen them with auto lights, wipers and climate but they rarely come about. As usual with Ford, plenty of options but the typical Ford buyer wants as little options as possible, that's why you see so many Focus STs bumbling about with manual AC and wind up rear windows, it's silly.

Other than Sat Nav and the 2 Sport Packs, I don't know what else was an option for the 182? They basically had epic spec as standard.

^^ Recaro's were an option not that many took on the standard 182.

Cup Packs, Recaros, Navigation, CD Changer, Tunepoint. That's all I know of there being available on the 182. Previous owner of mine even went for the Supagard

Yay, my 182 passed its MOT today

So I've got use of it for another year. Unfortunately it due its belt changes by June next year, boo

so that's going to be yet more expense. It's cost me a fair amount to get it through this MOT this year, much more than I'd like for a second car that's really only a toy.

As far as i'm aware the 6CD changer should have been standard in all 182's. It'll either be under the passenger seat or in the boot. Mine certainly has the CD changer. Its actually rarer to find a 182 without the Cup packs than with.

Hmm. My Clio has never used oil in the 3 years I've had it, yet after a week of M25 commutes my warning light came on and it's now below the minimum. It was almost at the max a month ago...

Check on top of the bottom inlet for oil leaks, its incredibly common on these

When was your cambelt last changed?

Also, my god my CL RC5+s are doing my head in. Constant squealing and they rattle like a box of old spanners. Its a good job they are epic stoppers or they would be off.

Sorry i meant cam cover, underneath the top inlet. The camshaft oil seal often fails before the service period, they can leak quite bad at the back of the cam cover too.

Actually thinking about it, i was right in the first place. If it is leaking from there, it will collect on top of he bottom inlet. Peak in those gaps.

@Begbie: How well does a bike fit in the back of the clio? Could do with lugging mine around (XC 26er with 21.5" frame), but haven't ever tried fitting it into the 182!
