Who here owns a Renaultsport?

Ah... I have a seat there :p.

Fits fine, the seats need to go down of course. I used to just take the front seat off and lean the passenger seat down but it's a lot easier to take both wheels off and lug it in. Can easily fit in two bikes this way, infact I've fitted in two large bikes before.

No obvious pools of oil on the inlet. I will just keep an eye on it. I didn't check it after the track day so going on what was in before its used just over a litre in 1 track day and 1000 miles.

On a side note, how important is the plastic engine cover? Do you need to protect the leads at the back of the block? I ask because I'm down to just 2 screws holding it on now having lost another one somewhere in the undertray, so was thinking about just removing it.

Real 182 owners that own Trophies (<--------------- ;)) Don't even have plastic engine covers! It makes 0 difference.

On another note I just managed to fit a folded up double bedframe from a sofa bed in the Trophy. Van spec ftw!

Its trashed.

Bit like the rest of the car really. Its very much a shed now, I just need to try out a bucket seat in a suit to see if I can get in and out without making a fool of myself, and then I will be ripping its guts out.

Drove the Clio GT Line 120 today. It has a feature where you can select which engine noise you want to come into the cabin. They have a few of the classic Renaults, including the V6, Gordini and a futuristic car. Obviously, I selected the GTR. Such a daft idea, but good fun.

Six speed auto, with flappy paddles. I'm not sold on them, but the car looks pretty good. Looking forward to driving the Clio RS 200 in a week or two.

Really not impressed with the new Clio. If I was going to be getting another one, it would be a manual 200 with Recaros, or move on.

Managed to pick up a full Scorpian exhaust for my 172 last night, included decat and another manifold for £70! Bargain me thinks.. Ill give it a go if I don't like it ill sack it off

Bought myself some Cup Turinis last night. Going to get them refurbed and stick some decent track/road rubber on. Thinking Federal RSR595's... Thoughts?

Anyone powder coated wheels before? How do they hold up? I need the above refurbed and I've been quoted £47+Vat a wheel for Spraying or £100 for all 4 powder coated!

The spray quote is about normal, considering they wont have to take off or put on tyres. Spraying will give you more control over the colour and finish you want. £100 for 4 wheels powdercoated is pretty good though! I got my cage powdercoated and was very happy with the finish.
