I don't think for a second that I'm an expert in suspension design or dynamics and certainly don't ignore genuine advice from those in the know. However, I know what I felt with the Rover (don't forget, I owned quite a few and over a long time period so did my fair share of tinkering) and am interested to see if the Scoob benefits from the same treatment.
Of course I expect the Scoob to have been a better and stronger shell than a tarted up Honda Concerto from the get go but I opted for the same style and design of brace that I've used before and had success with. No shiny chrome bling here.
I'll happily admit if it makes no difference. But then, it was £70, not £270.
edit... I didn't even want a strut brace specifically. A rear ARB would be better buy tbh
I was looking into brake stoppers and remembered there was a brace with an integrated stopper. Looked around a bit more, and in a sea of multi-piece alloy braces found what seemed like a rare single piece steel brace so I decided to buy it.
