Who here owns a Subaru?

What mods have you made so far?

Not as many as I should have by now!

I know an EJ205 doesn't need an aftermarket BOV, but I do find the noise and character it imbues the car with quite appealing. Anyone got any decent recommendations? I think a 50/50 or variable one would suit me best. Just keen to try it, at least. I do have a really nice variable (both for noise and recirc/external) GFB one but I don't have the right base plate for it.

Seen a set of these for sale (16s). What's the going value for these? Seller wants £650 which feels quite rich but then I've not seen many like them - reputedly off a 22B.

Quite tempted, following a 30-second Photoshop...

They're not 22B alloys, although nothing to say they were not on one. They look nice, and suit the Forester, not sure about £650 though?

You sure? I always thought if the bugeye had the high scoop they had bought a blob sti bonnet.

Scoops were mostly the same on all classics except for the S201 which has a mahoosive one. Bugeye WRX had a lower one, bugeye STi had a taller one (which I think looks great) - blob WRX had lower one, blob STi had a taller one again (which IMO only suited the blob) - hawk WRX and STi had the same scoop.

pic of the new one.

WR1 to WRX ? I think we need moar information and pics from the crash. You're holding out on us.

I think I've only ever seen genuine STi wagons in bugeye form, if I was ever to buy/build one, it'd probably end up being a bugeye.

My mate had a bugeye WRX in for an engine swap the other month and we were talking about it then.

Good shout on the Legacy GTB, that's the twin turbo version right? I do like the Legacy, was looking at a 3.0 auto when I was looking for a 2nd car.

Levorg STi looks interesting. Hopefully it does actually offer STi levels of performance and ability and Subaru aren't trying to turn the 'STi Sport' into a trim level.

Classics had STi wagons. Bugeye STi was the only official STi wagon made, although many have made their own as such :) I'd love a bugeye STi wagon with DCCD.

Levorg comes in nice flavours in Japan, but sadly only the 1.6 CVT here, which actually isn't all that slow. A few mods would no doubt make a lot of difference.

My current winter wheel look:

Yes, but this particular example, I've practically argued with the guy. He doesn't feel that fitting a K&N Typhoon induction kit warrants a remap on any Subaru, to the point that he wouldn't acknowledge it until I pressed him on Facebook.

That most likely lead to its early death IMO. But I've got no doubt that mine will blow the way I've been driving it :D

Asked a while ago, but no interest.

I really want a legacy spec b. Thoughts? Pretty solid choice apart from tax / fuel?

Or are we all about the imprezas here? :D Maybe I could make an impreza wagon work lol

Sorry hadn't meant to ignore!

Spec B is indeed a great car (get a manual) - the H6 engine is lovely and does suit the car. But I too would be more inclined to go JDM for a 2.0 turbo version, but that'd result in modding :D

Spec B is great - go for it.
