I love my job. One of the most rewarding careers anyone can have. It's great to witness something you've contributed to on a national scale.

That's a busy night fitting all that in, but at least you have a million quid and got laid

I spend the million on the car, realise I can't afford any sex anymore, rape a girl and then kill someone evading the police.

Right now, 8 or 9 out of 10 as (unchartered) structural engineer. Pay could always be better!

Can't stand it. Been in the job since the 2nd of June and I'm all but burnt out. My predecessor left by chucking in a four week sick note for stress, and never came back. Management seem to know what this job does to people, but don't seem to care enough to change anything for their employee's sake. I guess in the present economic situation that they can afford to let the job break people, they can always get others.
My route out of this rut is mapped out however, and all being well with references and a medical, I'll be starting an Engineering Cadetship in the Merchant Navy at South Tyneside College in January. I just don't know if I can hack this place that long, I'm off for two weeks after tomorrow, I may try and find a temp job until Christmas, then I can tell my present employer that I'm not coming back.
