Who manufacturs 7900GTX's reference cards.

As I understand we have all these companies selling 7900GTX's or any other card for that matter, for example EVGA, XFX, BFG etc... so do all these companies actually produce the cards themselves or does an OEM handle it?

Assuming they use identical components i.e. GPU's, Memory, connectors, caps/res/inducters etc... and maybe even the PCB's what will differentciate cards other than clocks.
 
Some of them build the cards themselves (they get all of the core components from different companies though eg, the GPU from nvidia, memory from samsung).

Some companies will buy cards off of other companies and then sell them as their own though.

Most cards are built to nvidias reference spec. however some will be different (gainwards 7800GT GLH is totally different to the 7800GT reference).

ATI on the other hand build a lot of the cards themselves (built by ATI models) and then sell the whole cards to companies who market them as their own (albeit with *built by ATI* badges on the box.)
