Wasn't a fan of the arch extensions initially, although they are growing on me a bit.
One thing I will say, the interface for playing music from a USB drive is awful! Folders show up in a random order (apparently it's the order in which they were written to the drive, instead of alphabetically), and play automatically as you scroll to them so you can't even look through to find the one you want without it being completely annoying. In the collapsed view, it simply shows a folder number rather than the actual title - no help there either!
I'm convinced nobody actually tried this system before they launched it. Fortunately the rest of the car is great though. Looking forward to completing the run-in period so I can open it up a bit.

It's top-end money for an early DE. Things to look out for include wheel alignment/tyre feathering, gear synchros (esp. 5th & 6th), clicky driveshafts, lower control arms (clunking/noise at low speed).
I personally don't put much value in the low mileage aspect, considering you have a selection of middling HRs for about a grand or so more. Any 10+ year old car is going to have parts that are a bit tired, but a lot of the Z-specific stuff was addressed in later revisions.

4 weeks until the new job starts and i am going to need a motor.
The A4 will be staying as a family car/holidays/school run etc but I still want a Z. 370 would be ideal but right out of my price range at the moment, looking at a max price of £5k for a 350z... is it possible to get a decent one for that money? lots under the price on autotrader, inc some GT models but always concerned with cars like these and the attention from the undesirable types.

Anyone any ideas on costs for the repairs for this one?
It's a good 2-3 hour drive from me so want a good idea before I look at it.

Clunk from the front could be banana arms, suspension arm, drop links or shocks.
Ad says banana arm and shocks are OK but I'd want to know how they had been tested. Banana arms are hard to inspect visually or test with a pry bar.
New after market suspension arms are £140 ish each and drop links are about £40 a set.
If he thinks it's worth £4k fixed i would want a bit more off than £300.

its been for sale for a very long time! before I even bought my z4 that was up for sale so november 2016ish.

Well I've been looking on and off for about a month now, start the new job on the 7th and no closer to finding one for under £5k that jumps out at me. Not fussed about the leather interior but must be a manual and be sound all round 
So I've owned my zed for 3 years now, serviced it every year on the dot and I think it's probably the P-3 this time, but I'm only doing about 3,000 miles / year in it.
So is it worth getting it serviced so regularly on such low mileage or would it be ok to leave it till 5-6k mileage.
It's an 05 with 91k on the clock, it's in good condition and had all work done its needed, but will it make any difference to a prospective buyer if/when I come to sell it that the service interval is longer than a year but lower than say 6k miles

The Nismo kit and wheels add just the right amount of aggression to the 370z, as standard whilst the proportions are nice it looks a bit plain IMO and the detailing just isn't right. With the Nismo kit though it's a great looking car.

Will that is why i went with the Nismo. Costs more but the better suspension, bigger power, better seats and mostly the agressive body styling makes it a massively more modern feeling car than the 370z GT.
