Daughter wants to buy tickets online tomorrow for the V Festival but has these 5 to choose from :

Gigs And tours
See
Stargreen
Ticketline
Ticketmaster

Who would you buy from?

See - Slightly less admin fee used by them, but the site can be slow for festival tickets.

Not used these two so can't really comment:
Gigs And tours
Stargreen

It's a shame because if (not an if really) there is high demand your best bet is Ticketmaster, but £4.50 just to send the tickets with royal mail!

I usually use all 3 lines at work, and get a mate to do it also so they can transfer the call to me

Ticketshafter, you mean? Them and See are way to expensive. I always opt for Stargreen or Ticketweb.

I don't know if these will be selling V tickets, but www.gigantic.com are good, and atleast some of the costs go to charity.

Also go on the efestivals forums. Sometimes they publish backdoor links which get you straight in.

Me and my mate managed to buy 8 leeds tickets 25mins after they supposedly sold out via the normal links.

I can vouch for Stargreen. I always get my tickets from them when possible. Also they often still have tickets left when Ticketmaster/Gigsandtours are sold out.

I use ticketmaster mainly (fantastic for pre-sales), only used See once or twice (tickets seem to come a lot later then ticketmaster).

Never had any problems with ticketmaster myself - if your in any doubt pay with your credit card which should provide you with additional assurance

I only tend to buy tickets from 3 locations:

1. Local box office - this is for our local venue
2. Ticketmaster - never had a single problem at all (except on big release days when their site can be slow).
3. See - when Ticketmaster can't help me I use these guys as backup

Have used both gigsandtours and ticketmaster. Didn't have any problems with either.
