Ok, this is totally random and i doubt ANYONE will have the answer to this.. by the way I have googled for it too and I almost found the answer via Yahoo Answers but I still couldnt find them.

Does anyone know what type of gloves Wade (or Deadpool) wears in X-Men Origins Wolverine?

Neoprene tends to be good at keeping you warm even when wet but they're still liable to get wet. I'd suspect after a while oil might well cause them to degrade but that's going to happen with most things as your work environment is fairly harsh.
 
I have used Neoprene gloves for fishing/shooting for years and they are quite water resistant although not 100% waterproof, thing is, when they get wet through they keep your hands so warm it is hard to tell, much better than woollen gloves or over-priced GoreTex stuff, they are also easily cleanable and they have been covered in fish slime/oil/guts/blood, Worm juices, snot, WD40, Oily fish scent stuff, paraffin and show no sign of problems, they don't smell too clever though :D
