going to see the chilis at reading anyone know whos suporting them this year?

i seen somewhere that dirty pretty things are supporting them sometime. im not sure if this is over the whole tour or just certain dates

im goin to derby and !!! and goldfrapp are supportin them, i think sheffield is !!! and ben harper, so id guess reading would be the same...???

eitherway im not hugely impressed

yeah think thats how they said to pronounce it on their webby, im tryin to find their webby but it doesnt seem to be on google. someone posted it on here a while ago probs back in march when i asked who was supportin them

would have thought they would have had better support though. Fair enough with dirty pretty things, but they could have really had any band of the moment.

Just be thankful you don't have Chicks On Speed who supported them at Hyde Park. A trowel is not a percussion instrument!

Oh what a classic that was

i've never seen such hatred directed to an act before! They came on and everyone cheered (cos no one had heard them before!!) by about the third or fourth noise (I wont call them songs) the cheering had stopped and the bottle throwing had commenced!!

I think they got bottled off at every gig they supported the chilis on that tour!!

I'm going to see the chilis at Coventry and its Dirty Pretty Things supporting but its not the same act for every gig.

I've never seen !!! live, but I'd be much more excited about seeing them than the Chilis!

They're a pretty cool band, saw Out Hud ages ago who share about half the same members and they put on a good show.

Anything has to be better than who supported them in Hyde Park in 2004 :rolleyes:

"Chicks on speed" were their name, utter horse crap was their game... James Brown was pretty cool though, allbeit i thought he went on for slightly too long

[Edit] Should learn not to speed-read a thread, but I can echo that they were really really bad...
