I'm really tired so please please forgive me if I've missed anyone really obvious out here. :/

My vote is going to have to goto Connery, Brosnan and Craig... They're all so good I simply cannot decide between them. :(

So who do you pick? Maybe some discussion about the films could be incorporated as well. :cool:

Roger Moore at the top (just) Lazenby at the bottom (by a mile) and the rest in the middle.

Too early to put Craig at the top after only one film.

Sean Connery any day. Pierce Brosnan at the bottom. All the others mashed in-between, but Daniel Craig mashed up higher.

I agree 100%

I would add that Brosnan had the look of a Bond above any of the others IMO :)
 
Sean Connery would have to be number 1, possibly Timothy Dalton as second, the rest have their merits but not really on a par, not too sure about Daniel Craig yet since I've only watched about half of Casino Royale so I won't venture an opinion on him. :)

I haven't seen Casino Royale yet so it would be unfair to place Daniel Craig, however, at first impressions he would go in between Dalton and Lazenby.

He actually does quite well though I didn't believe he would. I'd put him third behind Moore and Brosnan :)

I suppose the order depends on liking the more serious Bonds (Like I do :) ) or the more light hearted Bonds, like all the Moore fans.

Was never a big fan of Moore and I think Dalton got a bit of a bum deal as regards the actual films he was in.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service is one of my favourite Bonds.

And as mentioned before, Craig is too new to be judged, as i didnt think he played a "Bond" very well, he acted well, just wasnt overly bondified :p
 
Yeah now that I think about it I agree with you. He played the part in that film spot on, but as mentioned before on here, it wasn't James Bond he was playing. Things like not knowing how to take his vodka martini ("Do I look like I give a damn?"), falling in love and not saying his catch line - "The name's Bond... James Bond." Then right at the end when he says it and we finally get the Bond music. :D

But I agree, the next film(s) will determine how good a Bond Craig is. But from what I've seen so far, I think he's spot on.
