Why are Dominos/Pizza Hut SO expensive?

At my local pizza hut they only had a choice of three boring pizzas in their £3.99 buffet thing. I was kinda hoping you could choose toppings.

At Dominos we get the "buy a medium or large pizza and get another free if it's same price or less" offer. I just go with a mate then we get a large pizza for £7 each.

14 quid for 10 slices of pizza....

The question should be, why are they so disgusting.

I like Pizza, dont get me wrong, but these places just serve up warm carboard and tramp vomit.
