I work in a supermarket, and the number of old people who smell of TCP never fails to baffle me. What makes it so popular with the older generation, and what do they use it for?

I think they use to ensure that they reach their destinations safely and in an orderly fashion. :p

You may find that as you grow older, your body gets much more easily damaged, so the little cuts and bruises that healed in a short time when you were young, now take months; in the meantime you try to treat these things with creams and lotions, one of which is TCP.

And what's more, I find that it masks the smell of urine :D

My girlfriends mother retired 6 months ago and has started to use tcp a lot, i wonder if they get given a box on retirement?
