Why Do People 'Hate' EA? - Seriously? What is that all about? We asked EA.

"Let’s be clear. EA is a corporation and its primary concern is making money."

Investments have grown, EA need to ensure their products are appealing to as many people as possible, if they cant recoup investments then closures will occur and people will lose their jobs. Do some of you not understand why they do the things they do?

Edit: the origin bundling was a very clever move and they would be stupid not to have leveraged their big IP's to gain market share. Valve did the same thing with half life 2.

its just a minor thing, but heres a nice little example of how heartless the guys at EA are.

a lot of the people who worked on NFS Shift 2 left EA and went to work for Slightly mad Studios. these people obviously put a lot of work into the game and, as a little something to be remembered, they made the AI drivers have their own names, kind of like the online AI for the forza series. a recent patch has now changed the names of the AI to exclude all the members who left EA to move on to SMS.

i know its not a major thing, but it means that someone thought the best use of their time would be to remove their former employees names from the game they released over a year ago. not a great mindset tbh, and it almost certainly carries true throughout the company

And it's hardly surprising IGN have taken up this article, they're nearly as bad as EA when it comes to losing all morals and integrity when presented with a wad of cash.

There is nothing new there - magazine reviewers have been doing it for as long as I can remember. Here is our game to review...and a brand new, top of the line PC to play it on :p

Activision sucks but only because they keep making the same CoD over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and etc

But they're still nowhere near as bad as EA.

You've obviously not played any blizzard games recently then...
