Why is PMing disabled?

Last time i tried to use it i got several mail delayed notifications then a mail undeliverable and it wasnt to do with the guys email address as i just used my email client to mail him and it went through first time.

I always figured it was because of the scope for abuse and insults. It's hard enough for the mods to deal with when everything is open and in the clear.

just click send message in their trust and do it through email.

Weird, i send maybe 50 trust msgs a week, to loads of people and are all good :confused:
