Why is Ryzen 5000 so dang fast at eSports?

Oh it's true, it's damn true.

most reviewers only touched one or two titles, but here is a comprehensive benchmark suite. Ryzen 5000 is an absolute master class when it comes to high refresh eSports games, we're looking at close to 100% performance uplift in some titles!

Because ESports don't load up the GPU as much as the traditional AAA Titles so the CPU has more room to stretch its legs.

You see exactly the same thing when you replicate that by using less than conventional resolutions in these AAA titles.

Zen 3 is just a ###### fast as ###### gaming CPU.

This is the true gaming performance of Zen 3 when the GPU isn't the bottleneck.

The slowest, the 5600X is faster than the 10900K and 11900K. Zen 3 is the fastest Gaming CPU, by a country mile.

Well, in that Anandtech Rocket Lake review, there wasn't any gaming benchmark which Rocket Lake won.
The only thing close was the 95th of World of Tanks:

but I don't think it qualifies as a esport title.

@Dg, me? Is there anything where Intel wins?

Oh... there's this.

Aww... crap no, they used a slow GPU and its the bottleneck, never mind..... :(
Intel actually wins on price to performance, look at the 10400F hanging in there like a champ at less than half the cost of a 5600X.

The new 11400F is within 10% of the 5600X even @ 1080p and gives equal performance at 1440p or above so while the 5600X is the fastest 6 core that still doesn't make it a worthwhile purchase since it offers terrible VFM.

This thread is about eSports, 1440p is not for eSports

The same could have been said for Bulldozer, yet it never was.

Yes Intel are close enough in AAA titles, but that's because the GPU is the Bottleneck, as @Grim5 is pointing out if you're looking at eSports or even just 360Hz screen gaming the only way to go is AMD.
