Why isn't this playing 1080p smoothly?

i will be VERY surprised if coreavc is able to play bluray purely using cpu decoding with a 1.8ghz core2. 3ghz minimum in my experience.

CoreAVC is multi-threaded though. And a damn good implementation as well, I might add. So technically it will have TWO 1.8GHz cores available for decoding.

If for some reason the PC can't play it, then just slot in the cheapest modern Nvidia card for £30. These have CUDA and CoreAVC will take advantage of that. Result is 0% CPU usage, as it's all being done by the GPU instead.
