Ocuk is a site for pc enthusiants, from wanting to get the most speed out of your components to wanting the quietest fans yet you don't stock the best fans money can buy. I requested them in the "product suggestions" forum in January but you still don't stock them :(

Enermax do a silent range (Enermax Twister Bearing Silence):

Enermax do a multi-speed range (Enermax Twister Bearing):

The blades are removable so you can clean them too, they use patented magnet design to minimise friction:

and the blades are a patented bat wing design which are quieter and push more air.

PLEASE stock these already, they are available at competitors for about half the price of the Scythe high-end fans you sell which do 20.1db noise and 49CFM airflow whereas the Enermax Twister Blade silent does 42CFM airflow at just 11db so its WAY quieter, pushes only a bit less yet half the price.

Here's a video i found on youtube of the Enermax Twister Bearing Magma:

i did in january but ocuk haven't added them, hoping if users post in here requesting them then they might indeed stock them as i have to purchase them from another retailer at the moment, i'd rather get parts from 1 store instead of 2, seems illogical not to stock a fan thats quieter, pushes more air than the high-end fans and also cheaper.

yeah i needed a silent 92mm fan for a friend's pc and i noticed on a competitors site that the T.B silence were out, they weren't out when i bought a twister magma in january so went to see if ocuk sold them cheaper but they still don't sell any twister fans :( They also look very attractive too, they do some white ones with led's and some coloured led strip ones too, they are all in the link in the 1st page, they all use the bat wing design and magnet bearings.

This is one reason i give no loyalty to any of the E-tailers, i shop around, if one doesn't have what i need, i go to another. Would like to just use 1 place as its far easier, but thats never likely to happen lol.

updated first post, thought m3/h was the same thing as CFM :p BTW 10db sound difference is what for humans is twice as loud so 11db will sound like nearly half the volume of the Scythe 20db fan.

m3/h = cubic metres per hour

cfm = cubic feet per minute

at a quick glance it's very easy to miss, especially if you pick the pack up in a store and glance over the spec :)

For those who want to know the conversion values are:

1 cmh = 0.5883 cfm

there are other shops you can use!! there are lots of good products not stocked on OCUK, the only reason i use OCUK sometimes is the free and fast delivery.

Probably the reason is that they aren't really any better than anything else out there, really fan technology is not going to get much better than it is now, its not like its not been around for donkeys years.

Yes its a good cheaper option than some, but I would take all the manufacturers figures with a healthy pinch of salt as they are pretty much fantasy numbers pulled at the extreme ranges of performance.

Here specific test of the fan: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showpost.php?p=4615907

Heres a whole load of fans and you can see most of them bunch together with not much margin of difference between them. From this thread: http://www.xtremesystems.org/Forums/showthread.php?t=261778

That being said, they do look very cool, esp the white ones, seen them in a few build logs.
