Why no Enermax Twister Bearing batblade fans OCUK???

Probably the reason is that they aren't really any better than anything else out there, really fan technology is not going to get much better than it is now, its not like its not been around for donkeys years.

Yes its a good cheaper option than some, but I would take all the manufacturers figures with a healthy pinch of salt as they are pretty much fantasy numbers pulled at the extreme ranges of performance.

Here specific test of the fan: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showpost.php?p=4615907

Heres a whole load of fans and you can see most of them bunch together with not much margin of difference between them. From this thread: http://www.xtremesystems.org/Forums/showthread.php?t=261778

That being said, they do look very cool, esp the white ones, seen them in a few build logs.

 Most of the fans are very similar but the scythe gentle typhoons are clearly 5-10dB quieter in that test for a given airflow.

800mm fans provide massive amount of airflow at low noise levels. Only compatible with curtain cases.

*May be lethal. Do not use around pets, small people, glass bottles of deadly nerve agents or wadges of cash

They are getting them in though. Going to bag me a whole set to replace the ones in my CM690 II when they are in stock.

I would, except I already have.
I guess it's handy if you're just buying fans and can get free delivery, but I bought mine with other stuff from somewhere that's stocked them for a while.

Still, could be handy in the future.

They arn't any good for cooler fans but are fine for case fans i have a couple, which i modded by cutting the inbuilt temp sensor off and soldering the wires together.

I had one of the magma twister 120mm's on the back on an Antec 900 and I didn't think it was that good. Sure it seemed to move a bit of air but it had a really low pitch buzzing sound whenever it was on that used to do my head in. No one else with these magmas have that?

Nope!

2 x magmas fitted to rear of DF-85 and 1 about to go in side panel :)

I installed two of these this morning and what a difference in the sound,
They are a lot quieter than the fan i had in.
For the money they seem a good bargin.
