I have been hearing these wierd buzzing noises for the last few nights, they come on for 10 minutes then go off for an hour and then back on for 10 minutes and repeated all through the night.

I have been reading that BT are going to be testing line strengths soon and wondered if that is what the noises are, the phone line from the telegraph pole hooks upto the house right outside my bedroom window.

Would I be able to hear buzzing from the line or am I just thinking of power pylons :p the wierd thing is that if I am doing something in the room like reading with no background noise then I dont hear the buzzing all day, yet at night it starts up again.

Only in someone's imagination. Any tests run as part of the Max trials aren't going to induce a buzzing...

Back to the drawing board then, :p I unplugged everything in my room last night about 2am just to eliminate possible things and it was still doing it, it only started doing it after I moved my router 2 days ago, but like I said I unplugged that also and its still there.
