Wii & Dell 2407WFP - No Sound

Basically got the following hardware:

Harman/Kardon Soundsticks 2.1 (USB)
Wii
Dell 2407WFP

Is it possible to get this working with sound as were not having much luck. Plugging the Wii via composite, the L/R audio are plugged into a 3.5m convertor which goes into the line in (onboard sound).

The speakers are plugged in via USB, we have downloaded drivers for the realtek onboard (mobo is DFi Infinity 975X). When playing the Wii we have tried plugging audio from the compsite into every socket for the onboard sound but we get no sound.

Any ideas? Hope this makes some sense

i believe that you are only going to get an audio output from the onboard sound, not the usb speakers because they are in effect a seperate usb sound card. there may be a piece of software than can 'link' inputs and outputs on seperate sound devices like that, but if there is i dont know about it lol

Ok thanks, so all he needs to do is just find a cheeky pair of 2.1s - he can borrow mine. Shame Mario Galaxy is sooo good!
