Will 580 SLI be able to run Crysis 2 on medium ?

Now that Crysis 2 release date is approaching I was thinking of adding another 580 or maybe even two to make the game experience more enjoying. I am hoping for about 30+ fps @1920x1080 + 2xMSAA on medium, do you think this is realistic ? Or would I be better waiting for 59x when they are out and just SLI two of them ? Note that I am not that much interested in 3D gameplay - just the plain old good 2D.
Edit.: Also what PSU do you recommend for 3way 580 SLI ?

Crysis 2 sucks hard. Battlefield 3 is the way to go and will be probably the new Crysis.

They would not even bother making 'ultra' settings for a game if you could not run them using 2 of the pricest enthusist cards.

I don't know about when DX11 support is added, but my 5870 runs the Crysis 2 Demo on Hardcore and stays way above 30fps nearly all the time.

Thats a good thing to know!

Im hoping my 5870 will last me untill windows 8 comes around ~ 2 years

Been running the demo at 1680*1050 maxed and getting 70-85 fps all the time with a GTX560Ti clocked to 1000mhz

It looks OK, it looks very soft and blurry to me. Not much need for AA I found.

Running the demo on highest poss with 2 x 580SC in SLI. No problem.

There will be a patch for Crysis 2 to make it DX11, after release.

And bring on BF3...

From everything I have heard they downgraded a lot of the graphics in the engine so consoles would be able to handle it, such as reducing the quality of shadows. Then again, that could all be a load of BS but in truth you should just wait and see. If one 580 cannot handle it then you can just order another, it isn't like they take a long time to transport.

My 570 at 900 mhz runs the crysis 2 demo maxed out at 2560 1440 smoothly, it averages something like 42 fps, lowest i saw was 33 fps. Although the demo is dx9 only, and crytek confirmed it will eventually have dx11.

So I doubt I will still be able to set it to max at 2560 1440 while playing in dx11.

Me neither. I even explicitly said I was kidding in the original post. Just substitute "medium" with "max" settings and the question still looks silly. Though it would be probably legit just couple of days ago. (which is basically the main point)

As the answers go I was hoping for some more serious advice, more like if the demo and DX11 announcement never happened (as both are sooo disappointing), e.g:

Note that your MB (P5Q Deluxe) doesn't support SLI so seems like waiting for 595 is your best bet (without SLI hacking). However if you want to make sure that you have the proper rig from day 1 when Crysis 2 will be out (without waiting) you can go for 2x 6970 CF right now which should be still adequate for Crysis 2 (although in game tessellation will probably suffer as Nvidia seems to have slight edge in that department)
