Will a 24" Look a Lot Bigger than a 21.5"?

As title.

I'd like a size upgrade and was wondering if a cheap 24" monitor would look a lot bigger. The 21.5 I have is a bit lost on my desk

My mate has a 24" 1920x1200 which looks huge but will a 1920x1080 look as big?

Otherwise I will get a 27" for a MAJOR difference

If you want a major difference go for the 27"

depends a bit on the aspect ratio as well i.e. going from a 21.5" 16:10 panel to a 24" 16:9 panel may just result in it being a little bit wider and not actually appearing to be much bigger.

I have a 32" tv which I wouldn't want on my desk so would I want a 27" on my desk I'm not sure.

I'd say so myself, although as said 27'' from 21'' is a massive jump.
