Will a 560ti SOC, manage 2560x1600 for most games?

I'm upgrading to a U3011 hopefully soon. I was just wondering for most games whether my GPU will be capable. COD, Source Engine Games, BFBC2.

Any help will be appreciated!

I'd say the 1gb will hold you back at that resolution
Actually for a single GPU card, the lack of grunt on the GPU would be a bigger issue before the lack of VRAM would even become an concern. Just look at the following:
http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/2011/04/14/kfa-gtx-560-ti-1gb-ltd-oc-review/6

6950 1GB and 6950 2GB same result...don't think the extra VRAM would make a difference until it is crossfired.

Note the KFA2 GTX560Ti is actually overclocked to 950MHz and delivering minimum 22fps and average 36fps on 2560x1600 4xAA 16xAF, so BFBC2 would be "ok" playable if you can overclocked your GTX560Ti to 950MHz and drop the AA.

(my 560ti is at 965mhz)

More like a 570 / 480 performance then. ;) Though regardless, I do agree with others that I can't see your card managing to perform as expected in most titles.

upgrade to u2711 and save a fair bit? or do you need the extra features on the u3011?

would have read on here the 1gb vram per card will effect the performance.
