Will a HD 2400 XT allow me to connect to my Dell monitor and my TV?

Yes, Video card = HDMI, DVI, VGA, S-Video or Composite (yellow)

Plus then you would need a 2.5mm stero lead to composite audo (red/white) if you didnt want to use your PC speakers unless using HDMI

The TV is a Panasonic TH42PX70 with HDMI, and all the others. Basically I have my 360 running through the component (I believe that's correct it's the 5 leads?), PC cable coming from what I believe would be a VGA connector. The graphics card would be as written in the title.

Thanks

Because your display is a "4:3" resolution in Windows, you'll probably need to use one of ffdshow's aspect options. If you know how large borders are for various aspect modes then you should be able to work out which to use

It doesn't say he is using a 4:3 monitor though?

It's a 16:9 display, but the resolution is a standard 4:3 resolution, so you need to do correction for widescreen movies.

What do you mean "the resolution is a standard 4:3" you mean from the PC or?

Im confused, I have a widescreen TFT monitor and WS CRT TV and then are both widescreen resolutions?

But your resolution on the widescreen displays aren't 1024x768 are they? You use 1680x1050 and 720x576 which are widescreen resolutions.

On a 1024x768 screen, your movie players will detect your display is 4:3 (because of the resolution) so the aspect ratio will be incorrect.

Yeah but what had this got to do with this?
