Hey guys im just doing up a build of mine! ^^

So i want to be running a 5960X overclocked to around 4.7 if i can push it that far, or at least 4.5, and i want to use a Kraken X62 to Cool it, and hopefully keep the CPU under 80C
(maybe using around 1.4-1.45v)

Will it cope, or should i move upto a corsair H150i

case wise, it'll be housed in a NZXT Noctis 450 , and i can run the x62 in push pull of needs be

A 5960x at 1.4-1.45v is going to produce an insane amount of heat, i certainly wouldn't be trying to cool it with anything other than a custom loop and i certainly wouldn't be running those volts for 24/7 usage, maybe a few bench runs but that's it. With a 5960x you really don't want to be running more than 1.3-1.35v. I'm running mine at 1.275v @ 4.6 on a custom loop, mono block , Titan Xp and 2x 360 rads. With realbench the temps will top out around 75 degrees.

maybe i was a bit out with the voltage, maybe i'll get down to about 1.3v :') but the 5960x will defo have the radiator all to itself
