Will an old AM3 waterblock fit onto a new AM4 board?

My brother has an old XSPC raystorm waterblock mounted onto his Phenom 955 which i believe is on a AM3 board.

My question is: Will the block fit into the newer AM4 boards with the same mounting hardware that he has now?

Trying to save costs and money for him.

Nevermind, found the answer. It does not! you need a AM4 mounting kit as the holes are slightly off.
