Will ATI physics require crossfire, or just two PCI-Express slots?

I'm currently speccing a new conroe system, and I have a plan ;)

I'm going to buy the Asus P5B Deluxe which uses the P965 chipset (so there is no crossfire or SLI), however, it does have two PCI-Express slots. Will this be enough to run a graphics card as a graphics card, and a second card for physics?

I know that ATI physics is about a year off, but I'm trying to work out which board I should get.

Cheers!

The Inquier seems to think that ATI want any GPU to work as a GP-GPU, provided you have another card handling the graphics. I doubt ATI will make crossfire a requirement for physics, because they'll price themselves out of the market.

Whether GPUs are capable of substantial physics calculations has yet to be proven.
