Will/Does the GTX580 handle BF3?

How well will the GTX 580 handle BF3?

I'm just about to buy a graphics card for my new build and one of the big points of the build is for it to run BF3 very well. But now I'm concerned that there's no good GFX card for getting high FPS on the game!

a single 6950 was getting me 40-50 outside on map and 60 - 80 inside buildings and metro frames saome settings high and a few on ultra, now have it it in xfire and i get between 80-100 frames outside didt look while inside was too enthrawed in the game to look at fraps counter

another question on the same subject.....is a 1.5Gb 580 sufficient or would you really benefit from a 3Gb version?

well at 1200p im using 1.2-1.3gb on ultra on my 570gtx with 2xaa so 3gb might with high AA

i'm getting 55-60fps in metro

Graphics settings were auto and 1920x1080 @120Hz.

Mixed bag of framerates, monitored with latest version of fraps.

Outdoors- lowest framerate 40 and highest 60

Indoors- lowest 50 highest 70

GTX 580 (1536 vram)
