In my 2nd year of 6th form now, and i really want to do some kind of music course at Colchester institute next year, just wondering if it will cost me because ill be over 18?

Cheers, Dan

It's over 19 luckily. :)

Once you're over 19, you'll be charged.

I know this 100% as I was dealing with this last year while at college.

So if i enroll for a 3 year course when im 18, will i get charged for the 2nd and third year?

Most probably, unless payment needs to be upfront.

When I was in college, they said I wouldn't need to pay for any subsequent years as I'd be under 20 by the time it finished.

Free education whenever if you have no level 3 qualifications.
You'll have to pay for anything part time usually.
But up to 19 is free, you'll have to pay for subsequent years unless you have no level 3 qualification (which you most likely will from sixform).
