Hoping to grab one of these in the next month but i'm unsure as to whther it fits or not. Case is a thermaltake soprano and currently houses a 7800gt. If i switch my HDD's to the very top and bottom of the cage, the distance available is roughly 2" longer than my current card. Will it fit?

Oh and...

Chipset cooler isn't going to be a problem is it?

well mine fits in a thermaltake wave..my hard drives are in the top 2 positions in the cage and the very bottom...but the card itself doesnt quite reach the hard drives themselves so some quick manipulation of the wiring saw me able to slide it in with no moving at all..its tight but it just fits...I think the wave and the soprano are roughly the same size

I found the evga card I got was barely longer then the xfx 7800 gt I took out

(though I did check the evga website to get the dimensions of the card before I bought it..just in case!)

Ive got my 8800 in a TT Msmbo and it fits fine :)

The chipset cooler should be fine as its qwuite a low profile one i think :)

The chipset cooler is roughly 1cm high, maybe a little more. Thanks for the replies guys. Had this nightmare where i bought my new 8800gts and PSU only to find the card didn't fit. ARGH!! :D
