Will the Mac end up becoming un-cool?

i've never understood when mac's became cool, just because someone says it enough times doesn't make it true!!
macs were what we had in school 15 years ago: therefore immediately uncool and no way to recover!
ipods were cool, but i don't think it ever got as far as the actual computers, you see people sitting in coffee shops showing off their macbooks or whatever desperately trying, this just makes them even more uncool!
 
Come on people, it's bloody simple, they look nice and have cool names Macbook, Pro this Pro that... against EeePC, Vaio, Manufacturer XXXR-VXXX.

If there was another brand who constantly made good looking machines with cool names, they would be cool too. Apple will be uncool when they make an ugly product with a stupid name.
