*LMAO* I am so glad I have my 3090 after all the it's too much flak I caught.
Seriously, if China drops the costs of GPU's with a subsidies they could just take over the US.
Can't wait to see how the reddit will take this, Trump just enraged the gamers

Shouldn't unless you're importing from the US.
But if the manufacturers are have to take the tariff they could raise prices overall to offset the extra cost. then we could see a price hike.
If you have a preorder your costs won't go up, but I am guessing at some point the prices will go up from manufacturers, and then ofc the resellers.

Biden for president! I've been converted to a leftist in one fell swoop. Open the floodgates, I don't care. Now give us a good trade deal while you're at it, and I won't switch back to the right for at least six months when I get bored of my still-overpriced GPU!

I think we should all march down to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and have a word with Trump about this.

Won't be the first time the British burned the place down.:D

25% more of £rediculous is still £rediculous.

I'll be waiting till prices level to my preferred value. If that's a decade, so be it.

Rather suspect that any protests against Trump would meet with a different police response than protests for Trump, though.

Are EVGA cards made in the US? Be interesting to see how they fare
Surely if EVGA send products to their EU warehouse, it's an internal company transfer and therefore they pay less tax on that? I'm clueless as to how taxation on that works, but that would make sense to me.

In theory this should push down US demand, pushing up free supply and reducing non-US prices. In theory.
assuming manufacturers aren't raising prices across the board to make up for the US tariffs. But would be nice if we can get cheaper gpus than the US for once
