They're going at it again tonight live on ITV. Danny weighed in at a rather hefty 20st 8lbs, Matt at 18st 3lbs. I think Danny might run in to trouble if the fight lasts long; he'll be huffing and puffing after the 3rd round. :o
 
Williams in his 'best shape ever' again. He's just getting fatter. I think there will be a knock-out this time - Round 8/9!
 
come on, these guys are finely honed athletes.. They can go the distance :)

Hopefully should be a good slugfest. These are the best the UK can offer in terms of HEAVYweight fighters.. pretty sad

Coverage starts at 9.30 tonight. They will be boxing after Amir Khan I guess.
 
yeah i'd imagine Kahn will be on first so they'll probably be in about 10:30 ish

Some of the guys on the BBC message boards discussing if Williams had some weights in his boots to manipulate the weigh in as surely he hasnt bulked up that much! Either that or hes been on a ton of kipling cakes!!

If he is really that weight he's gonna struggle to carry that around for 12 rounds with Skelton headbutting him all the while like last time! So can see an early stoppage one way or the other, should be a cracker if its half as much of a war as last time.

Warren reckons he's got Valuev lined up for the winner for a world heavyweight title match in Britain! Dunno if either of these guys got the quality to take him down though tbh.
 
big big big shame that calzaghe had to pull out. was set to be an amazing night tonight.

amir should win, but i see williams being KO'd. heaviest he has ever gone into a fight!
 
I wonder how many people asked for their money back, now that this is the main bout of the evening, I know I would have.

I'm not really bothered who wins this, as they're both pretty damn useless, although the winner will probably get a title shot, shows how bad the heavyweight division is at the moment. :rolleyes:
 
im sure warren has been going on about ensuring a title bout for the winner :/
 
Bit of a messy fight so far. Williams looks far too heavy to last the 12 rounds so I think he'll have to get the knockout or he could be in trouble in the later rounds. He also doesn't seem that bothered. If I was one of his corner men I'd tell him to visualise Skelton as a cream cake and try and eat him.

Williams is fighting like a bum. No effort, no speed, no heart and he doesn't seem very stable on his feet. There's always a chance he'll catch him that one punch but he doesn't really deserve it.
