is it possible in win7 to have one wallpaper stretched across 2 screens? at the moment everything i try is repeated on both screens so is no good.

failing that, what's the best way to have 2 different wallpapers on 2 screens?

To get a wallpaper to go across both screens, it needs to be the correct dimensions. I have two 1680x1050 monitors, so I need wallpapers that are 3360x1050.

I am not sure if you can set individual wallpapers in Windows 7, something like Ultramon may allow that. Alternatively you could create one giant wallpaper from two smaller ones! :D

There's a prog called ultramon which is great for what you want, and also allows you to stretch an image across two different res monitors without distortion. There's also a freeware app that does the same thing but with features shaved off. I use it but am on my gf's lappy and can't remember what it's called. If no one else posts it just remind me (email in trust) and I'll reply when I get to my desktop.
