Hi, this has me stumped here, I did have 3 unmatched dimms in my system that added up to 4gb and windows say 4gb fine, now iv added 2 5770's and changed the dimms so theyre all crucial ballistix tracers (2gb+1+1gb). Iv just noticed that in windows it says 4gb installed and 3gb available??? is this due to the graphics cards eating a chunk because theyre greedy? best I can find on google is setting the remapping option in bios above 3gb, although i never had to before with 4gb and 1 single graphics card?? remapping just gives me errors on windows bootup, although im guessing i should downclock it a little maybe?? maybe im being thick here  what am i doing wrong??

cheers guys

cheers guys, ended up having to enable memory remapping (?) in the northbridge configuration for some reason, also the memory i just bought, 1 stick had a tonne of errors in memtest :( replaced it and the errors went away, checked the msconfig as well, the box was already unticked, good to know that tho for the future :) if you bought the ram second hand is it best just returning it or can you send it back to crucial for rma, does the warranty cover it once its sold to someone else?? thanks
