Win7, safe to reinstall MB drivers?

Hi guys,

Want to reinstall my motherboard drivers as my sounds and nic dont seem to be working right?

Using Windows7 64bit.

Whats the best way to do it?

Go to safe mode uninstall motheboard related drivers and then reinstall after i reboot back into windows?

Will i need to reinstall graphics card drivers or anything else after or should it all work ok?

I would download the latest drivers from the site, install and then just reboot.

Really?

No need to go through uninstalling them first like people always recommended in earlier versions of windows?

The only time I've ever had to go into safe mode and remove a driver is when there has been a problem with doing it the above way.

For years and years on many different configurations I've always just let the installer handle it and 99% of the time I've never had a problem.
