At work we have a domain that has several child domains.
I am a domain administrator through membership of a global group in the parent domain.
I am a domain administrator through membership of a same global group from the parent domain for all child domains i.e. the domain admins in the child domain use the global group from the parent domain.
If I log on to my computer (in the parent domain) and run gpmc I can edit the default domain group policy of the parent domain but I can not edit the default domain policy in any of the child domains
If I login using enterprise admins then I can edit the default domain group policy - how ever I wish to edit the policy as a domain admin
where am I going wrong?
