Windows 7 and Firewire issues (NV-GS3 Camcorder)

Hi

anyone having problems connecting their DV camcorder to their PC running Windows 7 ?

I understand there are issues with the firewire driver under windows 7. It just does not see my camcorder NV-GS3. I have done the "workaround" by changing the 1394 driver to the legacy driver but this has not worked either ?

any ideas ?

mine plugged and played fine without changing anything :confused:

and you have a Panasonic NV-GS3 ?

no, mines a jvc, a really old one, and it plugged and played fine.
