Hi all,

My main PC and my wife's PC, both desktops, are running W7 Home Premium. Mine is used for a multitude of different tasks whereas her's is used mainly for accounting work and browsing online. A couple of days ago she asked to to look at something on her PC and I noticed the default font for everything on her desktop looked as if it had changed. She says she hasn't adjusted any settings or downloaded anything which could have caused it. All the text on menus, desktop icons etc looks like it's a different font to how it was a few days ago. I'm using an Acer 24" LED monitor at 1920x1080 through HDMI. She is using an LG 22" LED at 1920x1080 through a VGA/D-Sub cable It used to look like mine, images below. Any ideas why this may have happened and where within W7 can I look to check and change default desktop fonts?

My PC's Start menu (this is the same font her's used to have):-

Font looks the same to me?

Maybe the DPI or zoom has changed? On the desktop right click go to Screen res then make text and other items larger or smaller, and check the settings.

Doh!!! That's exactly what it was - her's was set to 'Medium' and mine to 'Small'.

Cheers dude!
