Windows 7 Downloads stopping

Hi there.

So I've installed Win 7 Ultimate 64 Bit on my new build, however, I've noticed that downloads keep stalling, and after googling, I've found hundreds of results with exactly the same problem.

But none of the threads, etc, contain a definitive answer of why it does it.

So I thought I'd post here first just in case someone does know, before I waste time trying to fix it.

Having to use a download manager in the meantime

Download issues might be due to iffy NIC drivers. This has been the case the last few times this cropped up for me. Find out who made your NICs [Realtek, Marvel Yukon and Intel are common brands] and grab their latest drivers.

There could also be a RAM issue, so if the above doesn't work some memory testing may be a good idea.

I am assuming the stalling happens on all browsers you have tried.
