Windows 7 (FINAL) + Older Punkbuster games.

Last time I tried with Windows 7 64bit (FINAL) Punkbuster was still causing problems with some of the older titles such as BF2 and 2142.

I've done some quick searches and I still cannot find any announcements or anything on Evenbalance's website to indicate they have fixed the problems yet.

Sorry if this is a duplicate, but can someone confirm if these 2 titles are working now on Win7 32/64bit?

I still have a bit of a problem with FarCry 2 there was a way to fix it i think but i lost the link when i formated. something about running one of the pb files as admin.

I had a problem with punkbuster and BF2, but I resolved it easily by running Bf2.exe as admin. It might work for other game maybe.

I have no problem at all with these games on W764 Home. Best thing to do is download and run PBSetup http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php - very easy to use and does the trick when ur games are playing up with PB outdated kicks.

I see they have posted some updates in Dec 09; but with no detailed description or mention of Win 7..

I guess they finally fixed it!

Trust me just running 'PBSetup' never used to work ; lol.
