Came home from work to find the bloody thing had opened up SIX bloody tabs for it. Cheers Fanatic, will take great satisfaction in blocking the site haha.

This caused me to unistall msn messenger and I now use Pidgin.

I have yet to have another annoying popup since uninstalling messenger, but if I do I will do what outlined above - cheers.

Congratulations Microsoft, your badgerware has lost messenger another user!

I gave up with it as well, switched to Pidgin. Much better.

Try Trillian guys. Pidgin works but it's a bit shoddy on Windows.

I have had this sitting in my 'important updates' for a couple of weeks, I now know not to install it, cheers, andy.
