yep. to be honest its 332mb of waste. why couldn't they just done the hotfixs via windows updates....

it's good that they're releasing another pack though, having an up to date source is dead handy (without having to use 3rd party tools)

it's not a waste at all. for organisations, that one download can be used to update hundreds of machines. and for new installs, a slipstreamed sp3 disk is just the job. :)

but it still means u gonna Slipstreame it or buy xp sp3 cd or keep installing everytime u reformat..

ok guys. one person has already asked me if i could send them, i am not alowed to share theses. im sorry..

Its not hard to find them on the intarweb.. We had SP3 installed last week in work!

i was reading neowin and it points to an article about vista sp1 beta. it's not even an update as such - ms are giving out vista dvds with the service pack integrated - 3.2gb. the article is here....

i'll just wait till it's official. my vista has been running great even before those recent updates. as for the xp sp3, that's only a few hundred meg just like any service pack download.

SP3 will be a godsend for us, the time it takes to download and install all the updates (about 100MB / 65 updates) is a nightmare.

If you're an official beta tester via connect you shouldn't really even be mentioning you have access to them *wag finger*

Now go and stand in the naughty corner... :p

Just picked up the Vista x64 update... Over a Gig in size, one assumes it is a cummulative of all Vista updates released so far plus others?
