Windscreen Scratches

Hi the other week we had massive rain here and when i was driving obviously had to use the windscreen wipers. To my horror it appears the left one was slightly damaged and part of it was rubbing against my screen which has left on the left hand side has left very long scratches (in a half semi circle).

The next day i got them replaced but the damage is done. Does anyone know of a good way to remove these scratches from the elft hand side of my car windscreen?

They can be polished out but it does take some skill & some patience & it depends how deep/bad they are.

Doesn't this only count if the windscreen is chipped or cracked?

Don't think so, it usually covers glass damage regardless of what caused it?

malc, would normal glass polish do? I've got a couple of scratches on the inside from the previous owner... Nothing major tho, you only notice them at night...
