Albarino, Serra da Estrela, Bodegas Couto, 2007


I know Albarino is the grape

of the other 2 bits is one a maker and one an area or something else ?

I have only found one online place that lists it by the full name but they are out of stock and charge daft delivery prices unless I order 12 bottles

I have seen very similar names listed but not sure which part of the name is important ( or is it all important )

just noticed, that link says it is a region in Portugal yet it is a Spanish wine

Don't know anything about this particular wine, but perhaps the grape is grown in Portugal, but the wine in produced in Spain?

Yeah I think you may be right about the name rather than the region, you just end up going round in circles with the websites. Bodegas Couto is where I ended up which takes you to this place
