1) The M60 and K60 are designed for FPS gamers.
2) My current gaming mouse is a QPAD 5K, which isn't bad but hardly fantastic and doesn't have a conveniently located DPI switch. My work mouse is a wireless MX1000, which whilst being great is showing its age wrt sticking buttons and the life. The M60 looks awesome, should help me out in Tribes: Ascend with it's on-the-fly DPI changes, and would also have the features I need to retire my MX1000.
3) The keyboard which I primarily use for gaming is a Logitech Y-BN52, an old generic keyboard which over the years had most of the life beaten out of it. I've always wanted to try a mechanical keyboard and the K60 in particular, purely because of the responsiveness, and it should allow me to frag happily well into the 2nd half of the decade.
