Winter 2010/2011

Where you have you been in a blizzard? they're fine for a minute until the cold hits you and the snow is in your eyes.

I assume you're trying to point out that we rarely have blizzards here (UK), which I agree with.

However we sometimes do and there are plenty of places in the world you can go and experience one. They are epic and I love them too.:D Wasn't quite a Blizzard at home last year but there were some strong winds, thick snow and some cold temperatures. Needless to say my sister and I were the only two out... In Salopets, Ski jackets and Ski goggles. :D

Not quite the same as being in a blizzard at the top of a mountain though, they can be a bit :/. Biting winds/ice in your face as you're trying to get down a mountain with almost whiteout conditions.... But unless you're on a big hill in the UK we don't get that so...:p

I bloody hope it doesn't snow for long, I start a new job tomorrow, drive a RWD car and I don't really want to be stuck at home within the first 2 months of starting!

Which is today...

-6 apparently on Sunday.

Enjoy working from home :D

Where did you find that? I live just down the road and it doesn't say anywhere near that cold, even at night.

Having said that I've looked at 4 different weather forecast services and they all say different things (some no snow all weekend, some rain, some heavy snow and some a sprinkilng), in fact the same service on two different phone OSs say two different things... :p
