I have to say, winter tyres are truly fantastic in snow.
Be it FWD, RWD or 4WD.
I'll be honest, my views were biased before this winter due to only having properly used winter tyres in my 4wd Leon.
But having used them properly in a FWD Ovlov and the E60, they're really quite remarkable
Sure, if you put your foot down and drive like an idiot you'll slide all over place and make little progress, but I was really surprised how little drama there is in a RWD auto.
